Опис : C:\Documents and Settings\Имя\Рабочий стол\2.jpgThe main purpose of the hearings was to discuss urgent problems in the sphere of immunologic prophylaxis and infectious diseases prevention, arrange the conditions to restore public trust to immunization, form the effective state policy in this sphere, and improve the effective normative-legal base.

 

"Among the diseases of children under 17, infectious diseases occupy the seventh place, while among all the diseases first registered in one´s life the third place after respiratory tract diseases and skin diseases. In the structure of child mortality in Ukraine infectious diseases and parasitic diseases occupy the fifth place after congenital anomalies, states that appeared in perinatal period, injuries and poisonings", emphasized the speakers.

 

The participants of the discussion also stressed that the most effective measure to fight the infectious illnesses and restrict factors of epidemic development is immunologic prophylaxis.

 

T. Bakhteeva, Chairperson of the Committee, focused on the revision and adoption of a new single vaccination schedule to consider the epidemiological situation. According to the People´s Deputy, it is necessary to strengthen control over the observance of the State Program of Immunologic Prophylaxis and Population Protection from Infectious Diseases for 2009-2015 and the use of funds allocated for its implementation.

 

According to T. Bakhteeva, supply of vaccines purchased by the Ministry on Health Protection of Ukraine is considered to be ‘absolutely unsatisfactory.´

 

In the result of the discussion, the participants of the hearings came to the conclusion that it is necessary to immediately revise and improve effective legislation on the regulation of legal relations in the sphere of immunologic prophylaxis, correct legal deficiencies in the legislative acts, and harmonize them with international legal norms on the protection of human rights and public health.
